Dunno if anyone had picked up on it, but the Jeweler's Building/Irwin Reis Building at 15-19 S. Wabash is being renovation into 39 Units and new commercial.
Previous plans floated in 2018 said hotel, but the permits issued in April say residential- and couldn't find anything about zoning/landmarks changes to make it a hotel.
Renovations have been ongoing for a while, but scaffolding recently went up out front for the restoration of the original Louis Sullivan facade. Will be great to see this fully restored as one of his few remaining works in the downtown area.
