Journey to Churchill opens in 2014. Hudson the polar bear made his debut a couple weeks ago. Currently the only polar bear at the zoo after Debbie (the world's oldest polar bear) passed away a few years back.
Hudson is currently living in the International Polar Bear Conservation Centre until the full exhibit opens. From what I've seen and heard, this will be an absolutely amazing place!

This IS truly going to be a 'park gem' like the Vancouver Aquarium is to Stanley Park, and they're charging $25/adult for admission there. There are lots of educational programs in the works, and it will make for a very nice field trip for schools.
