Disappointing that AC is dropping the direct Ottawa flight for the winter. Hopefully they will (as stated in the story) be renewing that route in the spring. It's been noted elsewhere that the flight is usually pretty full. The extra flight per day to Toronto is good, but now more people have do deal with the joys of Pearson and connecting from there.
As for WestJet to Phoenix, it's great to be getting another international flight, esp to a noted Sask sun destination, but a once a week flight isn't anything to get too excited about. I'm not sure if there are any/many through the winter, but would this nibble at any charter flights the way the WestJet scheduled flights to Vegas and the Caribbean have been?
