Lowering floor count won't necessarily lower height, depending on if the lower floors get reconfigured to include higher ceilings, or as someone else mentioned, maybe they use those "extra" floors for more apts or office.
If they already have approval to build to a height, I don't see why they wouldn't.
BTW, has anyone seen a proposed height for this project? Floor count keeps changing, but not so sure about height.
