It's not horrible. The east side of the project looks like a college campus in the northeast. So, the shorter model (with no windows) - that's the new convention center section, isn't it? It's a shame they couldn't have shrunk that a bit and then oriented it more toward the older section of the convention center and away from Market Street. Then they could have had that lot open up more into the park from Market Street to invite people in. They even could have placed another hotel above the convention center to maximize density and give the skyline another shot in the arm.
I really do like the open space. Few cities can boast about that much park space so centrally located.
