The city is realizing that the suburban spread is bleeding downtown dry, hence the moves to stifle the conservation fogies and breath new life into the whole green movement in SA.
A lot of land that has been held onto long and hard is being freed up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more 300-400 foot buildings being proposed in the future. Given AT&T's eagerness to centralize, we may even see them match floorspace with what they have in Atlanta. Maybe not tall, but certainly a presence downtown.
I don't think SA is down and out quite yet.
