I vomited a little in my mouth when I read this:

"The character of San Antonio's unique downtown is in part due to the juxtaposition of small and large buildings. The small buildings reinforce the pedestrian scale of the block and allow for light and air at the street and river level."

HDRC is such a joke. They are a close-minded group of individuals committed to the ideas and characteristics of the early 1900s.

Modern, environmentally friendly high-rises that bring SA to the 21st century? Not if the HDRC has a say.

Everything downtown has history... that doesn't make it historical
