Typical McMansion neighborhood in U.S. would be something like Novi, MI. Unrelentingly bland, not really over-the-top:

The above neighborhood is probably at least half Chinese/Indian, BTW.

Italian-American (and Russian and Greek) neighborhoods tend to have gaudy design, but I've never seen anything like those Vaughan examples. But certainly Staten Island, Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, Whitestone and Howard Beach, Queens, and parts of Central Jersey, will have some tacky individual homes. But not really a McMansion environment like Vaughn.
