The fountain in Cincinnati is amazing. In terms of old, European-style fountains, I think the best in the U.S. are:

1. The Buckingham in Chicago is the best fountain in America BY FAR. It’s one of the best in the world.

2. Swann Fountain in Philly

3. Nichols Fountain in KC

4. Forsyth Park Fountain in Savannah

4. George Washington Fountain in Philly

4. Rockefeller Fountain: Bronx

5. Fountain of Life: Bronx

6. Neptune Fountain in DC

7. Soldiers and Sailors in Indy

7. Bartholdi Fountain in DC

8. Bethesda Fountain in NY

9. Prometheus Fountain and Channel Gardens in Rockefeller Center

10. Davidson Fountain in Cinci

11. Brewer Fountain in Boston

12. Bailey Fountain in Brooklyn (off for the winter in this photo)

13. Pulitzer Fountain New York

14. Maine Monument in NY

14. Montgomery, Al

15. Memphis

16. Augusta, Ga

17. DePew Fountain in Indy

17. New York Public Library

18. Neither old nor downtown by very nice in Orlando
