There are things that PMC can do to make it less of a wall. A few pages ago, I suggested a "Dockside" step-like design in which the Chestnut Street side may be 4-5 floors and then gradually rise to 25-30 floors on the Market Street side.
That's just one idea. There are ways to design the building that allows it to be taller but less bulkier. I think the city can ask.
