San Marcos is very much more Austin than SA. And Texas State students and faculty all have very strong ties with UT and St. Eds. Also when I was in high school (not going to say how long ago.
) we (Westlake) were in the same district as all of the Hays County schools including San Marcos. But San Marcos High School is HUGE now!
