UTSA & TAMU's Schools of Architecture (SoA) are okay. However, the most respected SoA in the state, in addition to being one of the best SoA's in the country, is UT Austin's School of Architecture.

My suggestion is to not only pick a place were you are comfortable, but also one which will put you ahead of other graduates when it comes time to get out into the "real world." Take your timeā€¦once you have made a decision, you cannot go back and change things very easily or at all. Plus, you are investing the next 6+ years of your life in this decision (4 years of college work and 2-4 years of residency/apprenticeship) so you definitely want to weigh ALL of your options!
