Bristol apartments presented their plan to the Forest Park/South Avondale association meeting tonight for the apartments on Clairmont across from Highland golf course. Bristol presented their design for the 246 unit apartment complex that utilizes the undulating landscape well, 5 stories on Piggly Wiggly side and 3 stories on the 36th street side (Forest Park). It has a flat roof so their are more apartments stories in the front and fewer stories in the back. It also has a central courtyard with a swimming pool. It will have a hidden parking deck with entrance from the back, 1 space for every bedroom. Bedrooms range from 1 to 3, 600 sqft to 1,300 sqft respectively. Average rent around $1,350. Construction will start in January and last 18 to 20 months.
