Plans for the Triple A stadium that was proposed for DT have been shelved indefinitely, and will not be included in budget.
She told the City Council that staff will continue to work on the project, but there’s been no financial commitment included in either the fiscal year 2017 budget, which the council is poised to approve Thursday, or in the 2017 bond program, which will go before voters next May. The council was briefed Wednesday in a closed-session meeting by the Barrett Sports Group, which conducted a study on the feasibility of Triple A baseball in San Antonio.

Perhaps we can now look up, and not over, on this? If the Missions move to Amarillo, or Lubbock, what then?
