I have been wondering the exact same thing...and same goes for the Fermor/100 cloverleaf as well. Between these two structures under construction, the lights at St. Annes & St. Marys, and all the direct left turns from passing lanes and gravel road accesses...this has become one very dangerous highway. Maybe the worst in Canada.

Sometimes it takes going to the US and back to realize just how bad it really is.
