Howard Hughes Corp. planning more apartments in Hughes Landing

One Lakes Edge, an eight-story, 390-unit complex located within The Woodlands’ 66-acre mixed-use development Hughes Landing, will have another multifamily project as its neighbor.
Dallas-based developer The Howard Hughes Corp. (NYSE: HHC) said through company spokeswoman Lorrie Parise that plans for One Lakes Edge Two, a proposed multifamily project, are “in the preliminary stages.” She said a groundbreaking date had not been finalized.
Alabama-based Hoar Construction disclosed it was awarded the One Lakes Edge Two project in material submitted to Houston Business Journal for the general contractors list. A spokesperson for Hoar Construction confirmed the company is working on the project but declined to comment further. The construction company worked as the general contractor on One Lakes Edge.
