High traffic areas in the Avalon region will undergo rut repairs this summer. The Department of Transportation says the routes to be addressed are among the highest traffic areas in the provice. A tender has been called for the repaving of over 8 kilometres of the Outer Ring Road from Torbay Road to Kenmount Road, about 10 kilometres of the TCH between the Route 2 interchange and Foxtrap, and 6.8 kilometres of Route 2 from Kilbride to Fowlers Road.
