I don't mind it so long as it's done right and with good materials. Unfortunately, 1930's materials and skilled labour drive prices way up, so it's rare to see any neo classical buildings done right.
And to think one hundred years ago Louis Sullivan thought the 1893 World's Fair was a setback to architectural progress...

I stand corrected. When I first responded to this the Elysian popped into mind as the only major current building, but there have been others in the recent past. Seems the Columbian Exposition wasn't the only setback....
