^As an outsider (I went to college at Webster in St Louis, but am from AZ) I'd be lying if I said the old Busch compared to the new. The new one is bland, and a bit silly with the overdone retro feel, but that old place was a freakin' dump. The views from the new stadium are terrific and if the ballpark village is ever built it will interact with the surrounding area much better than the old stadium. The old stadium was popular in the hearts of St Louisans because of all the good times they had there, but from a purely 'which is a better building' standpoint, the new building wins by miles.
