Project in brief: First hinted at by bisnow
last November, this project emerged first as a speculative pair of office buildings located at the corner of the Katy Freeway frontage road and Memorial City Way near Memorial City Mall. Launched by MetroNational, the prominent developer in the area, demolition of the existing shopping center rounded out November and December and activity on the site began in January of this year.
Within three weeks of the start of site preparation,
Air Liquide announced that it would be leasing out sections of the buildings to house their headquarters for their US and American operations. Retail will be included in the smaller of the two buildings, and the previous pocket park on the site called Texas Heritage Park is expected to return when construction wraps in 2015.
