State's InCube money revealed
By David Hendricks - Express-News
Quote:
Gov. Rick Perry today will announce the state's investment in the planned San Antonio expansion of San Jose, Calif.-based medical device maker and incubator InCube Laboratories, a source close to the situation said Monday.
The governor will be joined by InCube Labs founder and Chairman Mir Imran and San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley for the 2 p.m. announcement at City Hall, said the source, who is not authorized to release information and asked not to be identified.

The state's investment will come from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. The size of the investment is not being disclosed until today, but the first three InCube Lab companies scheduled to emerge from the new San Antonio incubator have applied for $9.2 million in state investments.
