Montreal Road in Ottawa is better associated with the Vanier area, a little over a kilometer from the ByWard Market across the Rideau River. The station is at the other end of the road, 7.5 kilometers away, just before crossing the urban area into the Greenbelt, where the street becomes S-Joseph.

When the City requested feedback on names, I proposed we change it for that reason, hoping to call it Beacon Hill (for the area it serves), Green's Creek (a natural feature in the nearby Greenbelt) or Canotek (the adjacent business park).

And yes, considering the geographical relationship between the two cities and the fact that this station is near the exit towards Montreal, the City, there are many reasons why I don't like the current name.
