Texas hasn't been hit
as hard as rest of the country by the subprime mortgage crisis. It really comes down to basic economics. Austin still has the demand for these kind of projects but no existing supply. This demand for urban projects has increased in recent years the supply and construction will continue until that demand is supplied.
