The Federal Coffee Palace, Melbourne (demolished 1972)





The Australia Hotel, Sydney (demolished 1971)

Both of these Sydney buildings were demolished by the terrible Austrian architect Harry Seidler, whose "modern" vision ruined Sydney's heritage He polluted the city with hideous 70's office blocks which have dated horribly, and were pretty damn ugly in the first place:
