The $24 million eight-story building that is planned for downtown Kalamazoo featuring, among other elements, a bank as the anchor retail tenant and about 50 "upscale" apartments will be rising on what is prime real-estate but currently a private parking lot in the city's central business district.
The project to be located at Michigan Avenue and Rose Street is that of Kalamazoo developer, Phoenix Properties, and designed by architects TowerPinkster. The project was announced Thursday as a "skyline-changing" addition to downtown.
