It does seem odd that a developer would spend money to purchase FAR (air rights) off neighbors but then not use all them. It doesn't seem like a wise use of money. Especially since air rights are necessarily very cheap, particularly in this location.
I am still hoping for a 1550 ft tower but now bracing for something shorter.
