CroTram

These are the new trams currently operating in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. The CroTram is a locally built low-floor tram, hence the name.

The CroTram was rolled out on the streets of Zagreb a year ago. Recently the 50th tram was released out of a first batch of 70 ordered. At some stage this year another 70 more trams will be ordered bringing the total to 140 with more in the future.

The CroTram is one of 4 low-floor tram models produced in Europe. It was designed and manufacture by Croatian firms Koncar & Gredelj with over 70% of the trams components manufactured and assembled in Croatia.

There has been huge interest for CroTram in Slovakia, Poland, Turkey, Morocco, Bulgaria considering the quality has been proven to be of similar if not higher quality to other built trams but a considerable cost effective price.

Enjoy and let me know what you guys think
