The median home price in the Philadelphia region in April increased 11% year over year to $365,000, one of several key indicators showing the bustling spring market many in the real estate industry were waiting on and hoping for has arrived.

Also in April, inventory increased, more sales closed and homes sold at a quicker pace. It comes after a March when inventory was down, closed sales decreased and prices saw a more modest 7.7% increase in Greater Philadelphia.
