Interesting that approach of passengers density.

Out of curiosity I checked São Paulo Congonhas: 22 million passengers in 2023 and a 0.618 sq mi area. 35.6 million pax/sqm. A good lead over La Guardia and might have a good chance to be the world’s busiest by that metric. I don’t know.

Last month their admin announced plans to build another terminal and they expect to reach 28 million passengers, mostly by allowing A321, that apparently is slightly bigger than the A320 and B737 that have the monopoly today.
