Houston Opens Two new Rail Lines

From one line of 12.8 miles, to three lines at 22.7 miles, the state of Texas now has its 2nd light rail system!!

The addition of the Southeast Line and East End Line now connect all of Houston's professional sports venues by light rail, as well as the city's 4 largest institutions of higher education-- the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas Southern University and the University of Houston- Downtown.

Cool. Going to Houston tomorrow for the first time ever (well, I was 10 years old last time I was there for 1 night) and am going sans-car, so look forward to riding the rails. Need things to do for 3 days, besides the obvious, suggestions welcome.

One thing you can do is learn to enjoy the humidity.
