Thanks for the post. I watched them take down the hoarding and scaffolding over the last couple weeks. Looks nice and shiny up there.
Is it some type of a stucco finish? Or is it actually panels of some kind? I would think stucco or similar finish as it was enclosed in hoarding. I'd suspect they wait until warmer times to finish the rest of the building if that's the case. |

That cluster is great. Lots of dense residential, great little restaurants. Hope to see this organic growth around UW to continue.

From far away the building is looking great, really nice to have another big (white) residential building there with Downtown Commons and Colony Square.
However, the quality of the finished walls looks dreadful. https://i.imgur.com/f6BTSTtl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/EBFz6YCl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ekJO2uOl.jpg |

Looks like a paper mache project for a 5th grader's art class

I mean I would love to be wrong but it would certainly appear to be...

Actually, I don't think that that's the finished version because if you look at the other walls, you can see vertical lines as though there's some kind of siding. I could be wrong but it would be odd to do all of the building except one wall face that way.

Ya this reminds me of something you'd see somewhere like Israel though not in a good way

With all the white buildings popping up around there, I'm going to start calling that area "Little Santorini"

I can't believe how many layers on are going on outside of Inuit Art gallery and ho long its taking. We are going on over 2 years.

That is not the finished product. As spocket mentioned, another layer to go overtop. Look at the flashing at the top.
Hard to tell in those photos what is finished and what is not. There's some kind of grey going on over on the other wall. |
