FORT WORTH | River Tower | 267 ft / 81M | 23 floors
This tower was originally proposed as a 3rd tower as part of the Trinity Terrace retirement center back in 2008, but fell through due to the economy. With things picking back up it's back on the board, and it even grew a little bit.
The tower is being partially built over an existing garage, and is expected to break ground in November. Ankrom Moisan is the architect. It will be the first hi-rise in Fort Worth since the Omni hotel opened in 2009. It's not much, but we are happy to have a some hirise development here in Fort Worth :) http://i.imgur.com/MlYB3N1.jpg http://i.imgur.com/taYW504.jpg Sources |
November, eh? I'll have to watch that site.

Not bad, it stretches the downtown out. The core is coming along nicely.

Nice. Man, I would love to ride Fort Worth's riverfront trails. Looks relaxing.

Just about. Still working on some of the facade, but for the most part it is done from the exterior. The interior finish out is still being worked on and has a ways to go.
