24 Ways To Make San Antonio "Buzz"

So Mayor Castro wrote a list to the San Antonio Express News of the 24 "best" things he feel would improve our city. Kind of neat. I am glad we have a forward thinking mayor. Interesting list, thoughts?

The 24 ideas below are offered in the spirit of helping San Antonio get there. They’re listed in no particular order. Some of them are big, some are small. Some are original, some are not. Some have been tried before, others await trial. Some require explanation, many of them do not. Some can be accomplished in a month, others could take a generation. Some are rooted in our city’s history, others depart from our past. Every one of them can enliven our future.

That's a neat list, and it's nearly all fairly realistic too. Maybe not at the same time, but still....

The idea about animals in the park is interesting and something I'd never heard of before.

Honestly, just having more parks (especially outside the Loop and on the south and west sides) would be a start.

The city-wide wifi would be great too, but how do you get cities like Alamo Hts, Castle Hills, Balcones Hts, etc to help pay for it, since they're surrounded by SA?

Im an A.H. resident, and I know that we were considering a while back doing city-wide wifi.

Housing for senior citizens on college campuses? I don't quite get that idea but it is kind of interesting. Overall, a good list and I think that most of these are achievable.

There is mixed income, so I guess mixed age groups. Grandpa is going to need his viagra prescription filled, lol.
