Definitely nice. My only gripe is there are few good places to photograph it from. Of course that's not San Antonio's fault, and should be taken as a compliment.

It's about a 6 out of 10. It definitely has its nice points: the Tower of the Americas, Tower Life building, a few of the newish taller ones (not the Great Wall of San Antonio). As Kevin said, there are a few good angles to take photos.

Does anyone know the exact location this photo was taken from? It's a great angle.

It appears to be taken from Loop 410E near the Babcock Rd exit -- On the outskirts of Balcones Heights.

Yep, Loop 410 in between Babcock and Fredericksburg. Highlight of San Antonio for me is the Tower Life building.

Of all the skylines in TX I think SA's is the most unique and interesting, and retains a certain degree of character and charm, and while the GH isn't the ideal skyscraper it does add to this imo.

I totally agree, bad modernism, lol. But that's ok, it does makes the other buildings look charming.
