Getting any kind of information about cancelled Los Angeles buildings is a VERY hard thing to do. Anyway, the only thing I know about this is that it would be a 2 tower complex in the City West area of downtown Los Angeles (directly across the 110 freeway). It was cancelled in 1992 and the Medici apartment complex rises where this would have risen.

Anybody know any more info?

**Edit**

Found an LA Times Article from 1989.

I was just reading that article, and wow. 64 proposed projects for downtown? I wish that was the case today.

If you ever find yourself at the Central Library downtown, go to the bottom floor which is I believe business and economic section and there are a few maps of downtown from the late 80's and early 90's that had all of these projects that never saw the light of day. Pacific Rim Plaza which was like 50 stories would've risen in City West on Beaudry and 6th streets. There was about 3 or 4 topwers that were going to be 50 stories tall. It was nuts.
