Wow, big things happening in that place.
|
Love seeing this reuse of that area!
|
Looks good. I like the density and the landscaping so far seems right. I think this could have the potential to be a great place. And I absolutely love the old Pearl Brewery building.

Pearl along with the 1800 and Broadway Lofts will transform that area.
|
I wonder what S.A. will look like in 2013?
|
Well, as annoying as Paul was bumping all those threads for no reason, he did bump a thread that reminded me to post this.

As for residential in the Pearl, plans call for between 700 and 1,000 units. You add to that, the 1800 development and the planned residential mid-rise next to Sam's Burger joint and you have the makings for a very cool area just north of downtown. |

I want to go that restaurant. NOW!
Is the building on the left as you enter the pearl from Broadway part of the development or is it by a different developer? |

http://www.pearlbrewery.com/Assets/imbu_fullgoods02.jpg Speaking of Nightmare on Grayson. I'm hearing the owners want to sell the property because 1) they've had many offers to buy it (for the site) from developers 2) they want to build a newer bigger haunted house. Hopefully something happens relatively soon (within a year) because the closing of the street[s] during October will be a big time pain once the developments around there are finished. |
SKW:
The Nightmare on Grayson owners have been very difficult/unmotivated thus far with regards to a sale of the property. I hope the city continues to push back against the street closure. Chad. |
