I've seen these before. Looks great. But it's a little too repetitive with the design but hey, it's Dubai.

Tom In Chicago May 6, 2008 4:09 AM

^It's Abu Dhabi. . . not Dubai. . .

Aleks May 6, 2008 4:18 AM

Same country. But yeah. I saw them in IDK where and I kinda liked them. Maybe keep the 3 main towers and change the small ones with a boxier design. The designs are nice, but the Emirates have way too many oddly shaped towers and not enough square ones. That's the problem.

Tom In Chicago May 6, 2008 4:51 AM

^Haha. . . actually Abu Dhabi has lots of boxy buildings. . . seems that all the new buildings have to be shaped funny to gain attention despite the fact that all these new projects will be 3 times as tall as anything else in town :)

Nice. It would be nice to see more than Dubai getting in the spotlight.

This photo was taken from the emirates palace but the photographer doesn't say it's of these towers. Don't know of any other developments near the emirates palace though. It's the right contractor though.

Cool effect at the top with the multiple layers.

I like this design, as well as the close proximity the towers have.

Love the boom taking place in Abu Dhabi. These are a great set of towers.

:previous: From this angle it looks like it's being built in the middle of nowhere.

NYC4Life Nov 27, 2008 6:47 PM

:previous: Much like almost all the other towers going up in the UAE.

TANGELD_SLC Nov 28, 2008 12:13 AM

:previous: True that.
