Nutrien officially announced as main tenant of the River Landing office tower. It will be occupying 8 floors of the building, which will be known as 'Nutrien Tower'. Great news for the city and province that the merged company will be maintaining a strong local presence going forward, and not merely through corporate sponsorships.

Exciting news for Saskatoon!
|
Is Nutrien moving into the second office tower, not under construction yet at the north end of the project, or the first tower, under construction now, at the east end of the project. I'm just dense enough to be unsure which building it will be in.
|
Nutrien will be in the North Tower, the taller one not yet under construction.
This is huge news. |
Big News at River Landing!
Some siding going onto the condo! Edit: Oops... in my excitement I posted this to the wrong thread. Close enough though. https://i.imgur.com/MS81Nj4.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vAj2DLO.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OErAAmz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HIVRbFQ.jpg |
Next mission for Triovest: Lure Cameco to their River Centre II site kitty corner from Nutrien. :)
|
Or maybe BHP Billiton if it looks like they will finish the mine they started.

Won't be Cameco....have a friend employed there at executive level and that ship has sailed. They are struggling as it is.....
|
Can't wait to come visit and check out all the new developments soon! Though I am glad to be back in Regina, I do miss Saskatoon's downtown and I am glad its getting even better! About Sask's new tallest building, those must be some high ceilings if its only going to be 18 stories!

I posted this in the RT thread as well, but since it also contains substantial updates regarding the Active Transit plan I will link it here too. The City has posted the agenda ahead of the special governance and priorities meeting happening on Wednesday. It contains several reports related to both the BRT plan, and active transit plan.

Parcel Y reminds me of the Husky office in Lloydminster - one shiny building (3 in Saskatoon) surrounded by otherwise meh.
