Mutton or beef, never pork. We got it with the immigrants from the Middle East, not much into pork down there. I prefer beef and mutton over pork anyway, so works out great for me. Only pork I really like is bacon. mmm... bacon

As Swede mentioned pork isn't exactly popular with the middle eastern people, but they do serve it if one asks for it ( plus it's the main ingediant of about half the pizzas they offer ) Anyway it's basicly a pita, just with differnt meat and usually a more sour dressing.. Quote:

They're appearing here in Canada more and more but there's plenty of room for every kind of fast food place without it impinging on any other, but then again given that there's a diverse population could have something to do with it.
One time I actually found a Canadian fast food place for the first time, that had bison and moose burgers, and their specialty coyote cheesesteak! |
Coyote... isn't that basicly a wild dog?
|
That's right.
|
Mmmmmm! :D

Well I guess there is now something to talk about........the Russian Georgian conflict....... causes.....responses and potential outcome. Any thoughts?
Did the Georgian government have the right to go after a province inside its territory? Is this the beginning of Russia trying to rebuild its empire? Does the U.S have any high ground to stand on considering its actions over the last few years? Are the European powers reacting forcefully enough or is the threat of a cut in energy from Russia preventing them from taking any action? Is Putin's behavior any different from the "old" Russia? Lots of possibilities to discuss here. |
There's already a thread on that in the Current Events section. Considering the topic's nature I'm ruling that that's where that discussion belongs and not in here.
But now a topic that's sure to get people talking... When eating a kebab, what is your preferred drink? a beer? coke? water? |
Sorry, I figured the term general discussion meant just that. Could you give me the link for the current events thread as I looked and could not locate it since this topic can't compete here with eating kebab.
|
Well I usually take Coke to Kebab since it's pretty cheap in the area where I usually eat Kebab.(close to school)
Coke NOK 10 ~ €1,2491 :D Roll Kebab NOK 30 ~ €3,7472 :D that's under €5 in total. Maybe that's not cheap for some of our other european forumers, but by norwegian standards that's just about as cheap as it gets. |

|
O dear! Things must have gone downhill in gammel Danmark then. :(
|
Well, IMO danish burgers are quite tasty.
I dunno about danish kebabs, but guess they're quite tasty as well. |
