Columbus Indiana Architecture Video Tour
 
One of the top architectural cities in the United States. Located just south of Indianapolis Indiana and about four hours from Chicago. This city of 50,000 is well known for its modern and historic architecture and is home to Cummins Engine Company. Check out the unique art, architecture and design that makes up this amazing little city.

“Columbus Indiana Architecture Video Tour” the title confused the shit out of me, really. Couldn't figure out what the heck is going on.

Then I realized there is a Columbus in Indiana with 50,000 residents.

Not confusing to me. I've always been fascinated how this small city became such a powerhouse in MCM design. I'd love to visit, esp. for the Miller house.

ha yeah that is easy to do, but its a very famous small town that punches well above its weight as a mecca for modernist architecture.

i have always wanted to visit and had plenty of time and easy chances to do so, but i regret i never made the pilgrimmage. maybe someday. :shrug: :tup:

Thank you for posting this tour, it brought back memories of my trip there in 2006. I like that it included several historic buildings (that I must have paid no attention to when visiting) and several buildings outside of the city's core (which I missed).
