Jokes aside, this is great news! Even without the retail this is definitely a good looking project (though the retail would be a huge bonus, of course). I'll be sad to see one of those old commercial buildings on the site go, but overall downtown comes out ahead.

It needs the retail for me to like it. Otherwise it's a place where a bunch of people drive in and out and never spend any time around it.

Is this still the location of Encore, or is it going in next door where Heritage Plaza used to be??

Fencing is now up. That area of downtown is going to be busy with it's neighbor going up at the same time.

Parking lot is 6 and probably 12-13 feet for each floor, nvm.

This should have had retail AT LEAST fronting Flores... that street is a little too busy for residential patios.
