Not a "Super tall", but a big tower for an English city.

At 201 metres tall and 56 floors above ground level, it will be the tallest building outside London in the UK. |
Nice looking building.

The building will have a sky restaurant, 122 apartments, conference facilities and an hotel. Rumours in Birmingham are that it will be a high class hotel, possibly a Jumeirah.

Looks like the UK is finally jumping on the skyscraper bandwagon. :)

Is this an Ian Simpson design?
|
Really pulling for Brum on this one.

that is one heck of a project for a country/continent that has long lagged in skyscraper proliferation
|
great looking building - hope it goes ahead - Birmingham is one UK city that could really do with getting a more iconic and distinctive skyline
|
Construction starts on site within weeks .....
http://i37.tinypic.com/651pc6.jpg ... one of Europe's most graceful towers .... not in Frankfurt, not in Paris, not even in London ... but in the English Midlands .... in the City of Birmingham. |
Not far from where my ancestors were from. Go Brum!
