NASHVILLE | Signature Tower | 1,030' Pinnacle / 810' Roof | 70 FLOORS | NEVER BUILT

It's official. Nashville's Signature Tower will rise 1,047' and 65 Floors. A model for this monster was released today. Go Nashville

holy shit. That's great for Nashville. It will be the tallest building in the USA outside of NYC & Chicago. Atlanta will be pissed off.

STR Apr 30, 2006 12:57 AM

This has been one of my favorite proposals. Glad to see it'll be a supertall, as the only thing lacking in the old design was that there wasn't enough of it.

Wow, didn't expect it to break 1000. Great looking tower and addition to Nashville

No prob. I wanted to make sure everyone got a look at this beauty. :D

That was quit an increase. Go Nashville, they need 1,000 ft+ building. I really like the design of this. Looks like it went through a little modification from the original design as well. What's the status?

Lexy Apr 30, 2006 1:20 AM

Pre sell starts next month I believe.

TheOldMan Apr 30, 2006 1:21 AM

wow, impressive. i see some shades of the Chrysler Building as well as some Far East inluence. very interesting. yeah, is this project definatly a go. if so, when is groundbreaking?

Any skyline pics with this tower in it??

Emporis has it @ 700 feet, 55 stories , could they be wrong again? :)

This is the updated, and final, redesign of the tower. Until told, they are wrong.

For all intensive puroses it is a go. The presell starts in a month or so, the tower has cleared all building hurdles that I know of. Metro has given the okay for the TIF funds for it, just waiting on the sales office to open and all that follows that. Once the right amount of presell occurs, the banks loan the money and the ground starts to move.

Now that's a spire. Excellent design! :)

Stephenapolis Apr 30, 2006 1:31 AM

Sweet design. I hope the height is correct. The model does not look like a +1000 footer. But I have not seen too many of those to begin with ;)

gripja Apr 30, 2006 1:31 AM

Thats crazy they up'ed the height 347 feet, i wish they would do that to some of the towers being built in NY.

Nashville Rocks!!

Adam186 Apr 30, 2006 1:35 AM

The height increase reminds me of Waterview Tower in Chicago which was originally in 800 something feet (if I remember correctly). Weird thing is, they both ended up at exactly 1,047 ft.

Tony G. ,the developer, said that the first sale of a unit will be by the first of September. So that is a bit later than I presumed. The construction will start BY 01-31-07.

Chi_Coruscant Apr 30, 2006 2:08 AM

Seriously? Congrats to Nashville for getting a 1000 ft+ tower. It looks stunning.

Lecom Apr 30, 2006 2:10 AM

It's about time Nashville got one. Maybe the spire is extra though, but otherwise a nice tall version of Frost Bank Tower.

Chad Apr 30, 2006 2:19 AM

Yes, Its a real stunner.

M. Brown Apr 30, 2006 2:19 AM
