What a fantastic setting for a horror movie. I love it!

Like NYNY in Vegas but worse.

how about something that's ugly and bland...

...with a restaurant-in-the-round...

...and a bridge between two towers for some reason...

...and a clock tower...

...that's a digital clock?

okay!

Ah the Genex Tower, quite possibly one of the fugliest buildings in the known universe, as you have kindly pointed out it checks off most of the fugly boxes!

I remember driving by this place years ago and being completely wtf-ed. It's really oddly placed and hard to miss. Thanks for the interior photos!

I think its interesting. Not exactly attractive, but not as ugly as a lot of other buildings in this thread. Definitely different.

That Aachen hospital, on the other hand...

O-tacular Mar 21, 2019 10:28 PM

This isn't an ugly building but it's awesome.

The digital clock display is interesting. A new category of ugly clocktower?

Where is the faux Chrystler building here? I see a faux One Liberty Place (Philly) but don't get much of a Chrystler vibe.

Whenever I think of Serbia, I always think of the Eastern City Gate. Although the Genex Tower would make a great Clockzilla match!

Yeah, the Gate To The East is abysmal.

My standards for what qualifies as truly ugly are pretty high, but those triplet Serbian towers definitely make the cut. They look like a portal to hell. They make the first one (Genex) look good by comparison!

They are creepy but absolutely great, makes it look like the tower has boils growing off it.
