During one of my tours today, I happened to yell to a construction worker that was standing on the crane barge and asked when we could expect the beginning of the trusses instillation, and he yelled back, 'in about three week'.

considering the amount of force being fed from the future trusses onto these angled mounts, I'm surprised there isn't even more steel... almost would have expected to see something akin to bridge abutments...

The force should be mostly compression - concrete for compression.

Really looking forward to seeing the trusswork go up......also, does anyone now know when the tower crane will be installed? Must be soon.....by end of June as well maybe?

Is that a piece of a tower crane on the truck right now

Looks like the big barge crane has got a section of crane base on it's hook right now. Also, is there only one crane on this building as well? It looks like they have two holes in the top of the formwork, could there be two cranes going up?

^Openings are for the tower crane and the concrete pump. This crane is an import, from New York  and it's even larger than the TC at River Point.

There will be an outdoor terrace for the restaurant at river level.

Ah, thanks, I must have missed that rendering, the last one I remembered had just a strip of greenery down there.

Looks like they are pouring the next level of concrete for the core securing those mounts in place.

Lolz at the 6 panel door on the right end of the picture, leading into the construction site - looks adorably out of place. :)
