Chicago: Grant Park - the day before the Obama election night rally (small photo set)
 

With the weather being so incredibly beautiful today, I decided to check out what was happening in Grant Park this evening. It'll be quite a different scene tomorrow evening (though I'm not going - don't want to deal with the massive crowds). The photos aren't anything overly special as I'm obviously below par on low light shooting, but I thought some people might be interested to see what's happening there.

I know, I'd have loved to see the reaction on their faces to a foot of snow on the ground. :haha:

I doubt the Canadian TV crew would be fazed.

I'm praying for a celebration rather than a conciliatory speech. ;)

If there was any place in the world that I would have wanted to have been at last night, Grant Park was it.

Chicago looks great!

Chicago looked great. One national anchor kept saying that Grant Park was on the South Side of Chicago. But I guess that portion of Grant Park technically is on the southern side of the city...

An awesome setting for an awesome moment in history.

Oh how I love Chicago. Those new buildings are looking great! Thanks so much!! I am sure it was amazing to be there Tuesday night!!!

Those are just amazing shots! What an incredible night that was.
