I think this is a wonderful project for Covington and really raises the bar.

Congratulations.....

^There's a webcam on page 2. Crane's up and it appears that they are working on the first floor.

Check out the construction progress on The Ascent

This is a live webcam of the construction site. It's well under way.

Here are photos of The Ascent on January 24, 2007. The building is almost topped off and much progress has been made on interior framing and exterior work.

Pretty cool. I had no idea it was under construction, let alone this far along.

I had no idea that it was already so far ahead. I'm pleasantly surprised, so far it looks much better than the renderings, especially the skin. Perhaps it would indeed be nice if he built some complex in NYC, even if it may not be appropriate at the WTC site.

You're thinking about the old Days Inn Hotel right off of 75. And I don't understand why everyone thinks it should be taller, this is Covington KY., Not NYC, Chicago, or L.A. Hell it's across the river but it isn't even Cincy. Great building btw:tup:

Yes, it's a great building. And it's in a fantastic location, literally next door to one of the finest pieces of architecture in the nation (Roebling's Bridge)...

Fine work, Covington. Fine, fine work!

Man, I'm downright jealous!

How is it that Kentucky (and Tennesee, for that matter) manages to get all these uber-cool projects. Here in Seattle we've got plenty of highrise construction, but they're all these shitty, bland concrete boxes.

The city revised our zoning a while back, but even our latest crop of proposals pale in comparison to your projects.

Much respect:tup:

This is one hell of a cool building! I remember seeing its renderings awhile ago, but I hadn't seen it completed. It looks awesome!

People have begun moving in to the building and it's getting better every day. Initially I thought this building was just going to be a toy but I think it's really working now.

^Yeah I was going to say that it looks quite European. I like it.
