Slurpee Capital is an embarassing title... I believe Manitoba also has the highest incidence of Type II childhood diabetes. Not trying to make the connection, between slurpees and children's health, but simply that celebrating the consumption of a super-saturated sugar beverage (food?) is perhaps not something to be proud of. Now, if we were the Booster Juice Capital, at least that would be something you could have some fun with. Maybe I'm being prudish.

OK, even though you don't have the title according to 7/11 I will say what ever makes you feel good if that's what you prefer. So that said.....Winnipeg must be the Slurpee Capital according to you.

If you check the press release, Winnipeg as announced the capital.

Calgary came in second and Detroit came in third.

Kennewick didn't even get a mention. Sorry. :rolleyes:

I'll be driving through Kennewick this summer, so before I go I will buy a slurpee here in Winnipeg put it in my cooler and return it at the Kennewick store. So thats 1 sale for us 1 return for Kennewick.
