Updated render. Looks to have grown to 27 or 28 floors. Source from a twitter vid. Striking resemblance to 5th+West in Austin, same architect.

Fort Worth City Council approves zoning for 30-story condo tower

Quote:

Fort Worth City Council members have approved zoning for The Worth, a 30-story luxury condo tower designed to serve as a gateway to the broader Panther Island development.

The Worth, which faces West Bluff and is bounded by North Henderson Street, Mills Street and West Peach Street, will provide an iconic entrance to downtown via a new bridge to be built on Henderson, the project’s developers say.

That tower could be the start of something big in Ft Worth in regard to condo development.

Austin55 Apr 12, 2018 3:58 AM

The zoning had to be changed since this is technically Panther Island, which has a 26 floor height limit.

SLO Apr 12, 2018 6:42 AM

Why do they have a height limit that low?

Love the design, has a ring of the 1970's to it!

Given the all clear to build by downtown design review board.

That was quick! Nice location just on the west side of downtown...

Unfortunately, the developer was unable to close on the land and it seems the project has died.
