PHILADELPHIA | Future Comcast Tower | 1,100+ ft Potential
I'd imagine once extended leases finish, the company is bound to have another tower in the works.

I would love to see Philly get another supertall. Unfortunately it's rather premature to create this thread since it's based off of speculation.
|
That article is 6 months old and is only conjecture. I have no idea where that height came from either.
|
Starting a thread based on speculation? :sly:
When Comcast officially announces their plans for a third tower to the media (NBC 10 exclusive) with a rendering from their architect, then a thread should follow. But until that happens, this thread should be closed. :lock: |
Yeah, this thread shouldn't be here... yet.
Although I will admit, seeing a new Philly building on Skyscraperpage is always a thrill. |
I agree this is premature. Also, everything I’ve heard and seen suggests two or three towers on this site, none a super tall. All likely shorter, which the tallest maybe reaching 800 feet, if that.
The next supertall in Philly will be at Schuylkill Yards, unlikely here. |
Why is there a thread for this? This isn't a proposal, it's not even a vision. It's a forumer speculating on what could, maybe, possibly, be built at some undefined time in the for all we know distant future.
Can I clog up every other subforum with possibilities? My city has a ton. In fact, I've got a thousand buildings I can imagine being built all over the place if everything goes perfectly. |
